about

Aaron Neal is a graduate of Auburn University’s College of Architecture, Design and Construction. He graduated cum laude with a dual degree of a Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Interior Architecture. During his undergraduate degrees, he has explored concepts such as light, transparency and redundancy. Light shapes space. Transparency creates visual interest. Redundancy adds flexibility.

Aaron went on to continue his education at the Rhode Island School of Design. He is a graduate of the Interior Architecture department as a Presidential Fellow with a Master of Arts in Adaptive Reuse. While at RISD, his research highlights the lingering effects of past policy on minority communities, and how adaptive reuse can begin to address the disparities.

Aaron began his career in higher education at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where he was awarded the AICAD Post Graduate Teaching Fellowship.
